مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُنْظَرِينَ

Sahih International

(15:8) We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(15:8) We send not the angels down except with the truth (i.e. for torment, etc.), and in that case, they (the disbelievers) would have no respite!

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(15:8) We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(15:8) We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have!

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(15:8) We do not send the angels but with truth, and then they would not be respited.

(15:8) In no way do We send down the Angels except with the Truth; and lo, in no way would they (The disbelievers) be respited.
