Sahih International

(21:49) Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(21:49) Those who fear their Lord without seeing Him, while they are afraid of the Hour.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(21:49) Those who fear their Lord in secret and who dread the Hour (of doom).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(21:49) Those who fear their Lord in their most secret thoughts, and who hold the Hour (of Judgment) in awe.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(21:49) (For) those who fear their Lord in secret and they are fearful of the hour.

(21:49) The ones who are apprehensive of their Lord in the Unseen, and they are timorous (because of) the Hour.
