اقْتَرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ مُعْرِضُونَ

Sahih International(21:1) [The time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away.
Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,(21:1) Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness.
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(21:1) Their reckoning draweth nigh for mankind, while they turn away in heedlessness.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali(21:1) Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away.
Mohammad Habib Shakir(21:1) Their reckoning has drawn near to men, and in heedlessness are they turning aside.
Dr. Ghali(21:1) Near to mankind has drawn their reckoning, and they, in (a state of) heedlessness, are veering away.
