Sahih International
(3:157) And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die - then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].

(3:157) And if you are killed or die in the Way of Allah, forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all that they amass (of worldly wealths, etc.).

(3:157) And what though ye be slain in Allah’s way or die therein? Surely pardon from Allah and mercy are better than all that they amass.
