ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ

Quran surah Ali ‘Imran 182 in english translation

Sahih International

(3:182) That is for what your hands have put forth and because Allah is not ever unjust to [His] servants.”

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(3:182) This is because of that (evil) which your hands have sent before you. And certainly, Allah is never unjust to (His) slaves.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(3:182) This is on account of that which your own hands have sent before (you to the judgment). Allah is no oppressor of (His) bondmen.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(3:182) This is because of the (unrighteous deeds) which your hands sent on before ye: For Allah never harms those who serve Him.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(3:182) This is for what your own hands have sent before and because Allah is not in the least unjust to the servants.

Dr. Ghali

(3:182) That (is) for what your hands have forwarded and that Allah is not unjust (The Arabic adjective here is in the strong from) to (His) slaves.

(3:182) This is because of (the unrighteous deeds) that your own hands have forwarded, for never does God do the least wrong to the servants.

(3:182) `This (punishment) is because of that which your own hands have sent forward,´ and the fact is that Allâh is not at all unjust to His servants.

(3:182) That (is) because (of) what your hands advanced/presented and that God is not with an unjust/oppressor to the worshippers .

(3:182) This is (requital) for the deeds you had committed, for God is not unjust to any of His creatures.
