Quran surah Ghafir 58 in english translation

Sahih International

(40:58) And not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor are those who believe and do righteous deeds and the evildoer. Little do you remember.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(40:58) And not equal are the blind and those who see, nor are (equal) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(40:58) And the blind man and the seer are not equal, neither are those who believe and do good works (equal with) the evil-doer. Little do ye reflect!

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(40:58) Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition!

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(40:58) And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful.

Dr. Ghali

(40:58) And in no way are the blind and the ever-beholding man equal, nor are the ones who have believed and done deeds of righteousness and the doers of odious (deeds); little do you remind yourselves!

Ali Unal

(40:58) Not equal are the blind and the seeing, nor (are equal) those who believe and do good, righteous deeds, and the doers of evil. Little do you reflect and be mindful!
