وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَٰذِهِ أَعْمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

Quran surah Al Isra 72 in english translation

Sahih International

(17:72) And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(17:72) And whoever is blind in this world (i.e; does not see Allah’s Signs and believes not in Him), will be blind in the Hereafter, and more astray from the Path.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(17:72) Whoso is blind here will be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(17:72) But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(17:72) And whoever is blind in this, he shall (also) be blind in the hereafter; and more erring from the way.

Dr. Ghali

(17:72) And whoever is blind in this (life), then he will be blind in the Hereafter and will be (even) further erring away from the way.

(17:72) And who was in this blind/confused , so he is in the end (other life) blind/confused, and more misguided (in) a way/path .

(17:72) But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path.
