Sahih International

(22:66) And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(22:66) It is He, Who gave you life, and then will cause you to die, and will again give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). Verily! Man is indeed an ingrate.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(22:66) And He it is Who gave you life, then He will cause you to die, and then will give you life (again). Lo! man is verily an ingrate.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(22:66) It is He Who gave you life, will cause you to die, and will again give you life: Truly man is a most ungrateful creature!

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(22:66) And He it is Who has brought you to life, then He will cause you to die, then bring you to life (again); most surely man is ungrateful.

Dr. Ghali

(22:66) And He is (The One) Who has given life to you; (i.e; mankind) thereafter He makes you to die; thereafter He will give you life. Surely man is indeed most disbelieving (Or: ungrateful).

Ali Unal

(22:66) It is He Who has given you life, then He causes you to die, then He will bring you to life again. However, humankind are really ungrateful.
