مَنْ يُصْرَفْ عَنْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمَهُ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْمُبِينُ

Quran surah Al An’am 16 in english translation

Sahih International

(6:16) He from whom it is averted that Day – [Allah] has granted him mercy. And that is the clear attainment.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(6:16) Who is averted from (such a torment) on that Day, (Allah) has surely been Merciful to him. And that would be the obvious success.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(6:16) He from whom (such retribution) is averted on that day, (Allah) hath in truth had mercy on him. That will be the signal triumph.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(6:16) On that day, if the penalty is averted from any, it is due to Allah’s mercy; And that would be (Salvation), the obvious fulfilment of all desire.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(6:16) He from whom it is averted on that day, Allah indeed has shown mercy to him; and this is a manifest achievement.

Dr. Ghali

(6:16) From whomever it is turned about (i.e; it “torment” is turned away) upon that Day, then He will have mercy on him; and that is the evident triumph.

(6:16) Whoever has been spared punishment on that Day, surely God has had mercy on him; and that is the manifest triumph.

(6:16) Who is diverted from it (on) that day, so He had mercy upon him, and that (is) the clear/evident success/triumph.
