لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ

Quran surah Abasa 37 in english translation

Sahih International

(80:37) For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(80:37) Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(80:37) Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others).

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(80:37) Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(80:37) Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him.

Dr. Ghali

(80:37) Upon that Day every (single) person of them will have an affair that will preoccupy him.
