Sahih International

(11:75) Indeed, Abraham was forbearing, grieving and [frequently] returning [to Allah].

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(11:75) Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant (to Allah all the time, again and again).

(11:75) Lo! Abraham was mild, imploring, penitent.

(11:75) For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.
