فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ

Sahih International

(12:70) So when he had furnished them with their supplies, he put the [gold measuring] bowl into the bag of his brother. Then an announcer called out, “O caravan, indeed you are thieves.”

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(12:70) So when he had furnished them forth with their provisions, he put the (golden) bowl into his brother’s bag, then a crier cried: “O you (in) the caravan! Surely, you are thieves!”

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(12:70) And when he provided them with their provision, he put the drinking-cup in his brother’s saddlebag, and then a crier cried: O camel-riders! Lo! ye are surely thieves!

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(12:70) At length when he had furnished them forth with provisions (suitable) for them, he put the drinking cup into his brother’s saddle-bag. Then shouted out a crier: “O ye (in) the caravan! behold! ye are thieves, without doubt!”

(12:70) So when he furnished them with their provisions, (someone) placed the drinking cup in his brother’s bag. Then a crier cried out: O caravan! you are most surely thieves.

(12:70) Then as soon as he equipped them with their equipment, he placed (Literally: made) the drinking- cup in the saddlebag of his brother. Thereafter a crier announced, (Literally: an announcer announced) “O you (of) the caravan, surely you are indeed thieves!.”

(12:70) So when he prepared/outfitted/(supplied) them with their preparation/equipment (supplies), he put the cup in his brother`s packsaddle, then an announcer/informer, announced/informed: “You, the caravan ,that you are stealing/robbing (E).”160
