Quran surah Ar Ra’d 26 in english translation

Sahih International

(13:26) Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(13:26) Allah increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(13:26) Allah enlargeth livelihood for whom He will, and straiteneth (it for whom He will); and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world is but brief comfort as compared with the Hereafter.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(13:26) Allah doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(13:26) Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases; and they rejoice in this world’s life, and this world’s life is nothing compared with the hereafter but a temporary enjoyment.

Dr. Ghali

(13:26) Allah outspreads the provision for whomever He decides and determines (it); and they exult with (the present) life; (Literally: the lowly “life”, i.e; the life of this world) and in no way is the present life, beside the Hereafter, (anything) except a (passing) enjoyment (Literally: belongings).

Ali Unal

(13:26) God enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). They (the unbelievers who have been given abundant provision and indulged in the present, worldly life oblivious of God and the Hereafter) rejoice in the present, worldly life, whereas the present, worldly life is but a fleeting enjoyment as compared with the Hereafter.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(13:26) Allâh amplifies the means of livelihood for such of (His) people as He will and straitens them (for such of them as He will). (Some) people are happy with the present life whereas the present life, as compared with the Hereafter, is but a fleeting (and insignificant) enjoyment.

Literal

(13:26) God spreads/extends the provision to whom He wills/wants and He is capable , and they became happy with the life the present/worldly life, and the life the present/worldly life is not in the end (other life) except enjoyment .

Ahmed Ali

(13:26) God increases or decreases the fortunes of whosoever He will, and they rejoice in the life of this world. Yet the life of this world is nothing but a merchandise as compared to the life of the next.

A. J. Arberry

(13:26) God outspreads and straitens His provision unto whomsoever He will. They rejoice in this present life; and this present life, beside the world to come, is naught but passing enjoyment.

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

(13:26) Allah enlargeth the provision for whomsoever He Willeth and, stinteth. And they exult in the life of the world, whereas the life of the world, by the side of the Hereafter, is only a Passing enjoyment.

Maulana Mohammad Ali

(13:26)-

Muhammad Sarwar

(13:26) God gives abundant sustenance to whomever He wants and determines everyone’s destiny. Some people are very happy with the worldly life. Compared to the life to come it is only a temporary means.

Hamid Abdul Aziz

(13:26) And those who break the Covenant of Allah after ratifying it, and who sever what Allah hath commanded to be joined, and who do mischief in the earth – upon these is the curse of Allah, and for them is an ill abode.

Faridul Haque

(13:26) Allah eases and restricts the sustenance for whomever He wills

Talal Itani

(13:26) God dispenses the provisions to whomever He wills, and restricts. And they delight in the worldly life; yet the worldly life, compared to the Hereafter, is only enjoyment.

Ahmed Raza Khan

(13:26) Allah eases and restricts the sustenance for whomever He wills; and the disbelievers rejoiced upon the life of this world; and the life of this world, as compared with the Hereafter, is just a brief utilisation.

Wahiduddin Khan

(13:26) God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases — [those who deny the truth] rejoice in the life of this world; yet the life of this world is but a fleeting pleasure compared with the life to come.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

(13:26) Allah increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world compared to the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.

Ali Quli Qarai

(13:26) Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes, and tightens it. They boast of the life of this world, but compared with the Hereafter the life of this world is but a [trifling] enjoyment.

Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish

(13:26) Allah gives abundantly and sparingly to whom He will. They rejoice in this present life; but this present life, beside the Everlasting Life, is nothing but a passing enjoyment.   That is translated surah Ar Ra’d ayat 26 (QS 13: 26) in arabic and english text, may be useful.
