وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُو عَنْ كَثِيرٍ

Quran surah Ash shura 30 in english translation

Sahih International

(42:30) And whatever strikes you of disaster – it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(42:30) And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much. (See the Quran Verse 35:45).

(42:30) Whatever of misfortune striketh you, it is what your right hands have earned. And He forgiveth much.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(42:30) Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because on the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.
