يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا هُمْ بِخَارِجِينَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُقِيمٌ

Quran surah Al Maidah 37 in english translation

Sahih International

(5:37) They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for them is an enduring punishment.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(5:37) They will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom, and theirs will be a lasting torment.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(5:37) They will wish to come forth from the Fire, but they will not come forth from it. Theirs will be a lasting doom.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(5:37) Their wish will be to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out therefrom: their penalty will be one that endures.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(5:37) They would desire to go forth from the fire, and they shall not go forth from it, and they shall have a lasting punishment.

Dr. Ghali

(5:37) They would like to go out of the Fire, and in no way will they be going out of it; and they will have a perpetual torment.

(5:37) They will wish to come out of the Fire, but they shall not come out of it; theirs is a punishment enduring.
