لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْئُولًا

Quran surah Al Furqan 16 in english translation

Sahih International

(25:16) For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(25:16) For them there will be therein all that they desire, and they will abide (there forever). It is a promise binding upon your Lord that must be fulfilled.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(25:16) Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(25:16) For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(25:16) They shall have therein what they desire abiding (in it); it is a promise which it is proper to be prayed for from your Lord.

(25:16) promise upon your Lord, of Him to be asked (by His righteous bondmen).

Literal

(25:16) For them in it what they will/want immortally/eternally, (it) was on your Lord a questioned promise.

(25:16) There will they have whatever they wish, and there abide for ever.” This is a promise incumbent on your Lord which will certainly be fulfilled.
