وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُدِدْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي لَأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا مُنْقَلَبًا

Quran surah Al kahf 36 in english translation

Sahih International

(18:36) And I do not think the Hour will occur. And even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return.”

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(18:36) And I think not the Hour will ever come, and if indeed I am brought back to my Lord, (on the Day of Resurrection), I surely shall find better than this when I return to Him.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(18:36) I think not that the Hour will ever come, and if indeed I am brought back unto my Lord I surely shall find better than this as a resort.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(18:36) Nor do I deem that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) come: Even if I am brought back to my Lord, I shall surely find (there) something better in exchange.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(18:36) And I do not think the hour will come, and even if I am returned to my Lord I will most certainly find a returning place better than this.

Dr. Ghali

(18:36) And in no way do I expect that the Hour is coming up; and indeed in case I am turned back to my Lord, indeed I will definitely find a more charitable (i.e; better) recourse than (this).”

Ali Unal

(18:36) “Nor do I think that the Last Hour will ever come. Even if (it should come, and) I am brought back to my Lord, I will surely find something even better than this as a resort.”

Amatul Rahman Omar

(18:36) nor do I think that there will be a Day of Judgment. Even if I shall be brought before my Lord, I certainly deserve to have a better place than this.”
