لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا تَأْثِيمًا

Quran surah Al Waqi’ah 25 in english translation

Sahih International

(56:25) They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin –

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(56:25) No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(56:25) There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(56:25) Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,-

(56:25) They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse,
