فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَىٰ حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

Sahih International

(30:38) So give the relative his right, as well as the needy and the traveler. That is best for those who desire the countenance of Allah, and it is they who will be the successful.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(30:38) So give to the kindred his due, and to Al-Miskin (the poor) and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah’s Countenance, and it is they who will be successful.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(30:38) So give to the kinsman his due, and to the needy, and to the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek Allah’s Countenance. And such are they who are successful.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(30:38) So give what is due to kindred, the needy, and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek the Countenance, of Allah, and it is they who will prosper.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(30:38) Then give to the near of kin his due, and to the needy and the wayfarer; this is best for those who desire Allah’s pleasure, and these it is who are successful.

(30:38) So bring to a near kinsman his true (right), and to the indigent, and the wayfarer; that is most charitable (i.e; best) for the ones who are willing to (seek) the Face of Allah, and those are they (who are) the prosperers.

(30:38) And so give their due to relatives, as well as to the destitute and the wayfarer. That is best for those who seek God’s “Face” (His approval and good pleasure); and those are they who are the prosperous.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(30:38) So present to the near of kin his due, and to the needy and the wayfarer. This is best for those who seek the pleasure of Allâh, it is they alone who will attain their goal.

Literal

(30:38) So give/bring the relatives/relations/near his right/share , and the poorest of poor/poor oppressed, and the traveler/stranded traveler, that (is) best to those who want God`s face/front/direction, and those are the successful/winners.

Ahmed Ali

(30:38) So, give their share to the relatives, the needy, and the wayfarers. This is best for those who seek the way that leads to God, and they will be successful.
