Quran surah Al Qasas 66 in english translation

Sahih International

(28:66) But the information will be unapparent to them that Day, so they will not [be able to] ask one another.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(28:66) Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that day, and they will not be able to ask one another.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(28:66) On that day (all) tidings will be dimmed for them, nor will they ask one of another,

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(28:66) Then the (whole) story that Day will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind) and they will not be able (even) to question each other.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(28:66) Then the pleas shall become obscure to them on that day, so they shall not ask each other.

Dr. Ghali

(28:66) Then upon that Day, the tidings will then be blindly (obscured) for them, so they will not ask one another.

Ali Unal

(28:66) That Day (all ways and means of finding) information will be darkened to them, and they will not (even) be able to ask one another.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(28:66) But on that day they will become confused and forget all their excuses and they will not even (be in a position to) consult one another.

Literal

(28:66) So the information/news was blinding/confusing on (to) them (on) that day, so they do not ask/question each other.

A. J. Arberry

(28:66) Upon that day the tidings will be darkened for them, nor will they ask each other.

Abdul Majid Daryabadi
