Quran surah Al Hujurat 1 in english translation

Sahih International

(49:1) O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(49:1) O you who believe! Do not put (yourselves) forward before Allah and His Messenger (SAW), and fear Allah. Verily! Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(49:1) O ye who believe! Be not forward in the presence of Allah and His messenger, and keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(49:1) O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger; but fear Allah: for Allah is He Who hears and knows all things.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(49:1) O you who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Apostle, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Dr. Ghali

(49:1) O you who have believed, be not forward before (Literally: between the Two Hands of) Allah and His Me- ssenger, (i.e; do not ant) and be pious to Allah; surely Allah is Ever-Hearing, Ever-Knowing.

Ali Unal

(49:1) O you who believe! Do not be forward in the Presence of God and His Messenger. Keep from disobedience to God in piety and reverence for Him, so that you may deserve His protection. Surely God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(49:1) O you who believe! do not anticipate Allâh and His Messenger, (putting yourselves forward before their cause and) be full of reverence to Allâh and take Him as a shield. Behold, Allâh is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Literal

(49:1) You, you those who believed, do not precede/advance between God`s hands and His messenger, and fear and obey God, that truly God (is) hearing/listening, knowledgeable.

Ahmed Ali

(49:1) O YOU WHO believe, do not forestall the judgements of God and His Apostle, and have fear of God. Verily God hears all and knows everything.

A. J. Arberry

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

(49:1) O ye who believe! be not forward in the presence of Allah and His apostle, and fear Allah; verily Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Maulana Mohammad Ali

(49:1) Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are firm of heart against the disbelievers, compassionate among themselves. Thou seest them blowing down, prostrating themselves, seeking Allah’s grace and pleasure. Their marks are on their faces in consequence of prostration. That is their description in the Torah — and their description in the Gospel — like seed-produce that puts forth its sprout, then strengthens it, so it becomes stout and stands firmly on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the disbelievers on account of them. Allah has promised such of them as believe and do good, forgiveness and a great reward.

Muhammad Sarwar

(49:1) Believers, do not be presumptuous with the Messenger of God (in your deeds and in your words). Have fear of God; He is All-hearing and All-knowing.

Hamid Abdul Aziz

(49:1) O you who believe! Be not forward in the presence of Allah and His Apostle, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Faridul Haque

(49:1) O People who Believe! Do not advance ahead of Allah and His Noble Messenger, and fear Allah

Talal Itani

(49:1) O you who believe! Do not place your opinions above that of God and His Messenger, and fear God. God is Hearing and Knowing.

Ahmed Raza Khan

(49:1) O People who Believe! Do not advance ahead of Allah and His Noble Messenger, and fear Allah; indeed Allah is All Hearing, All Knowing.

Wahiduddin Khan

(49:1) Believers, do not push yourselves forward in the presence of God and His Messenger. Fear God — God hears all and knows all.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

(49:1) O you who believe! Make not (a decision) in advance before Allah and His Messenger, and have Taqwa of Allah. Verily, Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

Ali Quli Qarai

(49:1) O you who have faith! Do not venture ahead of Allah and His Apostle, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.

Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish

(49:1) Believers do not advance before Allah and His Messenger. Fear Allah. Allah is the Hearer, the Knower.   That is translated surah Al Hujurat ayat 1 (QS 49: 1) in arabic and english text, may be useful.
