Sahih International

(38:2) But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(38:2) Nay, those who desbelieve are in false pride and opposition.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(38:2) Nay, but those who disbelieve are in false pride and schism.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(38:2) But the Unbelievers (are steeped) in self-glory and Separatism.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(38:2) Nay! those who disbelieve are in self-exaltation and opposition.

(38:2) No indeed, (but) the ones who have disbelieved are in might and opposition.
