Quran surah Qaf 3 in english translation

Sahih International

(50:3) When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return.”

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(50:3) When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(50:3) When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return!

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(50:3) What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding).

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(50:3) What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return.

Dr. Ghali

(50:3) When we die and are dust (will we return)? That is a far returning!”

Ali Unal

(50:3) “When we have died and become dust (you say, we will be raised from the dead)? That is a far-fetched return!”

Amatul Rahman Omar

(50:3) `What! when we are dead and reduced to dust, (shall we be raised to life again)? This (sort of) return is highly impossible.´

Literal

(50:3) Is (it that) if we died and we were dust/earth? That (is) a far/distant return.

Ahmed Ali

(50:3) When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched.”

A. J. Arberry

(50:3) What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!’

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

(50:3) Shell We be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote!

Maulana Mohammad Ali

(50:3)-

Muhammad Sarwar

(50:3) that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality”.

Hamid Abdul Aziz

(50:3) “What! When we are dead and have become dust (shall we live again)? That is a far return (or far from probable or from our understanding).”

Faridul Haque

(50:3) When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!

Talal Itani

(50:3) When we have died and become dust? This is a farfetched return.”

Ahmed Raza Khan

(50:3) “When we are dead and have turned to dust, will we be raised again? That return is impossible!”

Wahiduddin Khan

(50:3) to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!”

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

(50:3) When we are dead and have become dust. (Shall we be resurrected) That is a far return.

Ali Quli Qarai

(50:3) ‘What! When we are dead and have become dust, [shall we be raised again]? That is a far-fetched return!’

Hasan al-Fatih Qaribullah and Ahmad Darwish

(50:3) What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return’   That is translated surah Qaf ayat 3 (QS 50: 3) in arabic and english text, may be useful.
