وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ
Quran surah Ash Shuara 129 in english translation
Sahih International(26:129) And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally?
Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,(26:129) And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever.
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall(26:129) And seek ye out strongholds, that haply ye may last for ever?
Abdullah Yusuf Ali(26:129) And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)?
