Sahih International

(21:15) And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(21:15) And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is reaped, extinct (dead).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(21:15) And this their crying ceased not till We made them as reaped corn, extinct.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(21:15) And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is mown, as ashes silent and quenched.

Mohammad Habib Shakir

(21:15) And this ceased not to be their cry till We made them cut off, extinct.

Dr. Ghali

(21:15) So that their (unjust) plea did not cease until We made them a harvest mown down.

Ali Unal

(21:15) That cry of theirs did not cease until We made them like reaped corn, and a heap of ashes.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(21:15) Then they continued repeating this cry of theirs, till We made them (like) mown down field (and extinguished their spark of life leaving them like) smouldering ashes.

Literal

(21:15) So it was still/continuing that it (was) their call/prayer until We made them uprooted (and) silent/dead .

(21:15) And this remained their lament till We mowed them down and made them extinct.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

(21:15) And that cry of theirs ceased not, till We made them as a field that is reaped, extinct.
