Sahih International

(60:6) There has certainly been for you in them an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away – then indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(60:6) Certainly, there has been in them an excellent example for you to follow, for those who look forward to (the Meeting with) Allah (for the reward from Him) and the Last Day. And whosoever turn away, then verily, Allah is Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all Praise.

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(60:6) Verily ye have in them a goodly pattern for everyone who looketh to Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever may turn away, lo! still Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(60:6) There was indeed in them an excellent example for you to follow,- for those whose hope is in Allah and in the Last Day. But if any turn away, truly Allah is Free of all Wants, Worthy of all Praise.

Dr. Ghali

(60:6) Indeed you have already had a fair example in them for whoever hopes for Allah and the Last Day. And whoever turns away, then surely Allah, Ever He, is The Ever-Affluent, (Literally: The Ever-Rich) The Ever-Praiseworthy.

Ali Unal

(60:6) You certainly have in them an excellent example to follow for everyone who looks forward to God and the Last Day. Whoever turns away: then (let him know that) God is He Who is the All-Wealthy and Self-Sufficient (absolutely beyond need), the All-Praiseworthy.

Amatul Rahman Omar

(60:6) Surely, you have a noble example (to follow) in these people, and (also) for everyone who hopes (to see) Allâh (and also fears Him) and the Last Day. And he who turns away from (following) it (should know that) Allâh is truly Self-Sufficient (free from all needs) and Praiseworthy (in His own right).

Literal

(60:6) A good example/model (to follow) had been for you in them, to who was hoping/expecting God, and the Day the Last/Resurrection Day
