Sahih International

(17:22) Do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity and [thereby] become censured and forsaken.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,

(17:22) Set not up with Allah any other ilah (god), (O man)! (This verse is addressed to Prophet Muhammad SAW, but its implication is general to all mankind), or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire).

Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

(17:22) Set not up with Allah any other god (O man) lest thou sit down reproved, forsaken.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali

(17:22) Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution.
