Quran surah Al Hajj 16 in english translation
(22:16) And thus have We sent the Qur’an down as verses of clear evidence and because Allah guides whom He intends.
Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan,
(22:16) Thus have We sent it (this Quran) down (to Muhammad SAW) as clear signs, evidences and proofs, and surely, Allah guides whom He wills.
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
(22:16) Thus We reveal it as plain revelations, and verily Allah guideth whom He will.
Abdullah Yusuf Ali
(22:16) Thus have We sent down Clear Signs; and verily Allah doth guide whom He will!
Mohammad Habib Shakir
(22:16) And thus have We revealed it, being clear arguments, and because Allah guides whom He intends.
(22:16) And thus We have sent it down supremely evident signs, and for that Allah guides whomever He wills.
(22:16) It is in the face of such rage and malice that We send down the Quran in messages clear in meaning and content and as manifest signs of the truth; and God guides whomever He wills.
Amatul Rahman Omar
(22:16) That is how it is. We have revealed this (Qur´ân) comprising clear arguments. Yet the truth is that Allâh guides him (to the right way) who wishes (to be guided).
(22:16) And like that We descended it evidences/signs/verses, evidences, and that God guides whom He wills/wants .
(22:16) That is why We have sent down these clear revelations, for God gives guidance whomsoever He please.
A. J. Arberry
(22:16) Even so We have sent it down as signs, clear signs, and for that God guides whom He desires.
Abdul Majid Daryabadi

Maulana Mohammad Ali
(22:16) Whoever thinks that Allah will not assist him in this life and the Hereafter, let him raise (himself) by some means to the heaven, then let him cut (it) off, then let him see if his plan will take away that at which he is enraged.
(22:16) We have revealed the Quran which contains authoritative verses. God guides only those whom He wants.
Hamid Abdul Aziz
(22:16) He who thinks that Allah will not help him (Muhammad) in this world or in the Hereafter, let him stretch a rope to the ceiling (or heaven) and put an end to himself; and then let him see if his plan will remove that which enrages him.
(22:16) And so it is, that We sent down this Quran – clear verses – and that Allah guides whomever He wills.
(22:16) Thus We revealed it as clarifying signs, and God guides whomever He wills.
